A Quote From One Of My Students

Seb Goldswain

“Music is one of the greatest goods available to mankind, with tremendous power for healing and bringing unity. The life of a musician who strives for these ideals is one of discipline, focus, purpose and deep joy. I was privileged to start my life in music under the tutelage of Angela Stevens, who implanted many of these ideals in me. She lit a fire which started my musical pursuits. Angela is a world-champion choir director and music educator with a loving care for all those who are privileged to be taught by her.”

WHAT I TEACH

1- PIANO LESSONS

Piano lessons in classical and modern music of all genres from beginners to adults of all ages. You will learn to read music and understand the rhythms and construction of chords and how to see the patterns in music whilst developing a love of piano playing and music and how it all evolves.

2- VOICE LESSONS

Have you ever wondered if you can sing? Anyone can sing with the right training. So why don’t you give it a try and see how we can work with you and develop your singing ability by training your ear and voice.

3- MUSIC THEORY

Music theory is the foundation of any instrument as it’s so important to understand exactly what you’re playing in any instrument you choose to learn. I will teach you how to understand your music better through theory. You can do it alongside your instrument, prepare for theory examinations or just learn how to analyse and understand everything you’re learning to play better, through theoretical understanding

4- COMPOSITION

In today’s technological world it is so easy to learn how to compose and transcribe your own music. I can help you with writing your own songs, instrumental pieces or a symphony through my course in composition. I have many years of experience teaching students composition for their final examinations. Let me help you make your dream become a reality!
